2020 Nissan Titan Facelift Spied With An Updated Interior

The Nissan Titan hasn’t changed much since the second-generation pickup was introduced at the North American International Auto Show in 2015. That’s about to change as spy photographers have caught a facelifted model undergoing testing in Michigan.

The heavily camouflaged front fascia does its best of hide styling details, but it appears the pickup with adopt a revised grille and restyled headlights. The lower front bumper appears to largely carryover, but we can some subtle revisions around the central air intake.

The rear of the Titan is also heavily camouflaged, but changes appear relatively minor. However, the images suggest the truck will have a new tailgate and revised taillights.

Bigger changes occur in the cabin as the 2020 Titan has been equipped with a new instrument cluster that features revised dials and a larger digital display. The truck also has a revised center stack that houses a larger and more modern infotainment system. On other side are restyled air vents, while new switchgear is located underneath.

The trim on the passenger side has been covered up, so that will likely be updated as well. There doesn’t appear to be any other major changes, but Nissan is updating the cabin to make it more competitive with newer pickups such as the Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra and Ram 1500.

The 5.6-liter V8 engine will likely carryover and continue to produce 390 hp (291 kW / 395 PS) and 394 lb-ft (533 Nm) of torque. It should be connected to a seven-speed automatic transmission which can be paired to an optional four-wheel drive system.

Nissan has previously confirmed plans for a V6 variant, but appears that could still be several years off. In late 2017, Nissan North America’s senior vice president of product planning suggested a new V6 engine would debut in the redesigned Frontier before appearing in the Titan.
