Purple Carbon Fiber Koenigsegg Regera Is Truly A Sight To Behold

A stunning 2019 Regera finished in bright purple carbon fiber is looking for a new home courtesy of Semco Cars in Germany.

Koenigsegg is only building 80 examples of the Regera worldwide, and the unique (and expensive) exterior finish of this particular example makes it all the more desirable.

The listing claims that the car has just 100 km (62 miles) on the clock and reveals that the purple carbon fiber has been contrasted with a gold leaf pinstripe running over the hood and along the doors. It really is a sight to behold from the outside and also includes carbon fiber wheels and red brake calipers.

The cabin is beautifully appointed in some of the finest materials imaginable, including gloss carbon fiber, matte carbon fiber, smooth black leather, and brushed aluminum. Yellow stitching across the seats is also a nice touch although we think purple stitching may have suited the car even better.

Powering the Regera is a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 with three electric motors that delivers a combined 1,500 HP and 944 lb-ft (1280 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels not via a traditional transmission but Koenigsegg’s innovative Direct Drive system instead, which is said to be even faster.

No asking price is listed, but buyers should probably have at least $3 million at their disposal. But if you have to ask, then…
