Sterckenn Gives The BMW M5 And M2 Some Subtle Visual Tweaks

British tuning company Streckenn has unveiled a series of visual modifications for the BMW M5 and M2.

One could argue that both M cars leave the German car manufacturer’s factory looking great, but these upgrades developed by Streckenn are relatively subtle and suit the cars’ styling. In fact, most people would be hard-pressed to identify the aftermarket parts from the OEM exterior panels.

Starting with the M5, the tuner has developed a bespoke carbon fiber front lip spoiler and a pair of new carbon fiber inserts for the air intakes. At the rear, you will find a bespoke carbon fiber diffuser that adds a serious amount of aggression to the super sedan but isn’t over-the-top. Owners of non-M badged 5-Series will be pleased to know that they can order similar parts for their rides.

It is a similar story with the M2. Keen to not mess with the design of the rear-wheel drive sports car too much, Streckenn has created a subtle, yet sharp, carbon fiber splitter and a new diffuser.

While the M5 is a seriously impressive performance car, it’s the M2 which has been making headlines recently, and for a good reason. Not only is it much more affordable but, in just a couple of months, perhaps at the LA Auto Show in November, the German car manufacturer will unveil the long-awaited M2 CS. Production of this version, which will be lighter and more powerful than the Competition, is expected to be limited to just a couple thousand units.
