Believe it or not, but it has been over six years since Ferrari dropped the collective jaws of the entire automotive industry with the unveiling of the LaFerrari hypercar.
Produced as a rival to the McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder, the ultimate Prancing Horse remains the most powerful and fastest road car which Ferrari has ever built. Now one particularly stunning unit is up for sale from Tom Hartley over in the United Kingdom.
We imagine that many of the 500 LaFerraris built are collecting dust in garages around the world but this car has actually been driven and has 6,000 miles (9,656 km) under its belt. Sure, that’s not much in the grand scheme of things but it might be more than you’d expect from a rare Ferrari which is worth this much.
The listing says that the hypercar is fitted with a front suspension lift system, satellite navigation, a sports exhaust and also has 20-inch black alloy wheels. There are also black Alcantara racing seats and red Cavellino’s stitched into the headrests.

The LaFerrari is powered by a naturally-aspirated 6.3-liter V12 which pumps out 789 hp at 9000 rpm and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque. While the larger 6.5-liter unit of the Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 models has 809 hp, the LaFerrari remains the company’s most powerful road car thanks to its inclusion of a KERS unit which supplies an additional 161 hp.
Buying a LaFerrari never comes cheap but the £2.1 million ($2.73 million) asking price isn’t bad. In fact, considering what other examples go for these days, it is almost a bargain.
