Amy Poehler jokes Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan copied her son Archie’s name: ‘Get off my jock, man!’
Amy Poehler reacted with her trademark good humor after learning Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry chose the same baby name as her.
The Duchess of Sussex, 37, gave birth on Monday and two days later the royal couple announced they had called their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
The comedy queen, 47, also has a 10-year-old son named Archie with ex-husband Will Arnett, 49, and she joked during TV interview on Thursday that she feels like ‘they’re copying me.’

During an interview with Seth Meyers on Late Night, the Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls founder spoke about her two children – Archie, who is blonde, and 8-year-old Abel, who is a ginger.
‘You kind of have a William and Harry situation,’ Seth noted, saying ‘So it’s a real crossover.’
‘Now that you say it I really feel like they’re copying me,’ Poehler joked, continuing, ‘Like, ‘get off my jock, man!”
Seth responded by telling Poehler she should start calling her son ‘Archie the first.’

She says she is a little worried that there’s gonna be a wave of baby Archies, but, that ‘I think they look like a real cute couple and I love that name,’ she said.
The comedian said she, and her generation, ‘love our William and Harry.’
She elaborated by telling Seth that she wants her boys to be just like William and Harry.
‘I have two sons – you want them to be like William and Harry. You just want them to be friends but also different…and one of them is in some kind of royal air force,’ The Mean Girls actress joked.
Amy is currently promoting her new film and directorial debut in Wine Country.
