She said it felt ‘very, very special’ to be performing in Sydney, a place she visited often with her South Korean immigrant parents and older sister during her childhood.

‘Sydney, this [is the] place that me and my dad and my mum and sister used to come and hang out,’ she said.

‘To be honest, being back here on tour, marks the first time I am performing here. So it feels very familiar. But also very different.’

During BLACKPINK’s show, Rosé also delighted fans by encouraging her Thai-born bandmate Lisa Manoban to speak in an Australian accent.

‘I’m so nervous, I don’t know why!’ said Lisa as the crowd cheered.

‘That’s because this is where your Australian accent is put to test!’ replied Rosé, who speaks with an Aussie twang naturally due to her upbringing.

‘Lisa, show them your amazing Australian accent!’ she continued.

Clearly embarrassed, Lisa sheepishly replied ‘no’ in her best Australian accent, before fanning her face as she started to blush.

The day before the concert, both Lisa and Rosé were spotted shopping for makeup at a Myer department store in Sydney.
