Former Bachelor star Nick Cummins outraged viewers when he walked away from the show single following a brutal double dumping.
But despite fallout, incoming star of the franchise Matt Agnew said he didn’t feel any pressure from producers of the Channel Ten show to pick a winner this season.
Speaking to NW magazine, the 31-year-old said he would have done the same as Nick if he too didn’t find love on the show.

‘I think you have to back yourself and own your decision,’ he said of the experience.
He then went on to gush over the women on the show, saying he took finding a partner seriously on the show.
‘I’ve met some amazing women on the Bachelor – and one of them really could be the person I marry and start a family with,’ he added.

In a separate interview with Woman’s Day magazine on Sunday, Matt repeated the fact he didn’t feel pressure to choose a girl.
‘There’s certainly no pressure, but you definitely need to be as open and honest as possible,’ he said.
It comes after Bachelor host Osher Günsberg hinted that Matt has already found love on the Channel Ten show.

Despite confessing that Matt ticks all her boxes when it comes to a potential partner, Angie also told TV Week that she is ‘stoked’ for Matt and his new romance.
‘Matt has found the love of his life, which I’m so stoked for,’ she said.
Fans will be pleased to hear that Matt has had better luck on the show, after last year’s Bachelor, Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins, made history by being the first not to pick anyone in the season finale.
