And several days ahead of the premiere, Channel 10 has accidentally let a few spoilers slip about the first two episodes of the season.

Instead of having all the women enter The Bachelor mansion on the first night of the show like usual, the ladies have been split into two groups for maximum drama.

20 women will enter on the first night, and another eight will arrive on the second episode.

‘Crack out the bubbly, lay out the cheeseboard and strap yourself in as 20 beautiful bachelorettes battle a mix of excitement and nerves as they meet their bachelor, astrophysicist Matt Agnew,’ reads the episode one synopsis.

The second episode features the first single date of the season, along with the shock arrival of the new women.

‘The first single date sees one bachelorette join Matt for a very special helicopter ride,’ reads the episode two synopsis. 

‘Also, eight hot new ladies have arrived looking for love and some are not willing to take the news lying down.’

A recent teaser for the series shows the frisky astrophysicist kissing at least 17 of the women, indicating that it could be the steamiest season to date.

The Bachelor Australia premieres Wednesday July 31 at 7.30pm on Channel 10
