Whatever happened to Revhead from Home and Away? Gavin Harrison looks VERY different from his days as a ’90s bad boy – as he reveals his surprising new career away from the spotlight
He was famous in the late ’80s and early ’90s for playing Summer Bay bad boy Morris ‘Revhead’ Gibson on Home and Away.
But three decades later, Gavin Harrison has turned his back on the spotlight to pursue a career in advertising in Los Angeles.
The 48-year-old told The Morning Show on Monday that he decided to quit acting because he was more interested in working behind the camera.
He explained: ‘When I started out, I was doing both [acting and working behind the camera]. But acting really took off and put me on a trajectory in that direction.
‘But then as things played out and I got a bit older, I began thinking that I really love directing, film-making and photography.’
After leaving Home and Away, Gavin relocated to the U.S. and founded advertising company Section9 Productions.
