‘Nailed it!’: Cardi B’s iconic talons coming to life in offbeat new ad for Reebok sneakers 

She has never shied away from getting the biggest, baddest, sharpest and most decorated nails around. 

But now Cardi B has been taken to the next level in the nail game with nails that come to life with just a thought and can act as new limbs. 

In the latest campaign for her brand partnership with Reebok, released Tuesday, the rapper takes viewers to the beauty salon.

While chatting with a friend under hair dryers everyone in the shop is alerted to Cardi’s one untied sneaker. 

Without missing a beat, the 26-year-old, real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, wills her already long, pink, jewel encrusted nails to do the task for her.

The video sees her nails grow a few feet and work independently to tie up her shoe before retreating back to a more normal length. 

With a freshly tied pair of Reebok’s Classic Vector Crew, she turns to a customer and simply said ‘nailed it.’

She appears with rainbow colored hair in curlers, as she wears a salon robe, jeans, a Reebok logo tee and white sneakers. 

Her make up is full glam with contoured base and a strong winged eyeliner. She paired the look with large gold hoop earrings and at least six gold chain and emblem necklaces.  

As her beauty salon companion takes note of the untied shoe, and everyone in the shop seems to stop and stare the Bodak Yellow singer knows just what to do. 

She glances down at her pink nails and they seemingly come to life and slither down her legs like snakes and tie up her white shoe lace.

Some in shop look on with smiles while others seem bewildered by what they are seeing.  After, Cardi then went back to chatting as if nothing ever happened. 

She then heads door of the salon and flips the Open sign to read ‘Sport the unexpected,’ the title of the new campaign. 

Cardi announced her partnership with the footwear brand back in 2018 and previously promoted their Aztrek sneakers. 

The President of Reebok said at the time, ‘For us, she really is emblematic of what our brand has done well over the years and that is to be bold, provocative and uninhibited.

The I Like It singer recently celebrated the first birthday of her daughter Kulture who she shared with her husband Migos rapper Offset. 

She opened up on Instagram about why she has yet to headline her own tour. 

She cited the cost of putting on a big production, leaving less in her pocket, as a main reason she is waiting until after she releases her second album. 

‘You see ya might think I’m dumb cause my attitude or the way I think but one thing bout Bardi I loveeeee money and I know how to make it …I hope I answer ya question …Thank you. Just stop it already.’
