He was taken to task by his pal Joe Jonas in May, after he livestreamed footage of the pop hunk’s top secret first nuptials with Sophie Turner from Las Vegas.
And as a result, Diplo’s phone was confiscated when he attended the couple’s second wedding at Le Château de Tourreau in Sarrians, France, on Saturday.
Taking to Instagram, the chart-topping DJ, 40, revealed that he had his phone ‘put in a holding cell’ as the lovebirds enjoyed a more traditional ceremony with loved ones.
Banned: Diplo has revealed that his phone was confiscated when he attended Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s wedding at Le Château de Tourreau in Sarrians, France, on Saturday
Sharing a shot of himself looking dapper in a black suit, Diplo wrote: ‘This is the only photo I got from Joe and Sophie Turner Jonas wedding because they took my phone from me and put in a holding cell during the ceremony. Heard it was lovely tho.’ [sic]
Joe, 29, previously accused Diplo of ‘ruining’ the wedding. When asked how the nuptials were, Joe replied: ‘It was lit! … Diplo did [ruin it]. I do love Diplo but he loves his ‘gram more than a 13-year-old. He posts every five seconds.
‘He literally, like, live streamed with dog face filters. We just laughed. We loved it, we thought it was ridiculous. We just loved that he was walking into the chapel and he was like, “Gonna hit this wedding real quick.”‘
Livestream: When the couple secretly tied the knot in Las Vegas in early May, Diplo took to his Instagram account to livestream the moment
However, Joe’s wife Sophie, 23, didn’t see the funny side and was slightly upset that they weren’t able to enjoy the beginnings of married life in private.
She said recently: ‘It’s tricky when people livestream it. It would have been better if no one had known, but I actually think it was funny. I would have kept it a secret.
‘Marriage is a private thing between two people and I think that’s how it should always be. It’s not about the dress, it’s not about the food. It’s about being husband and wife, and being dedicated to each other forever.’
During an appearance on On Air With Ryan Seacrest at the start of June, Diplo, real name Thomas Pentz Jr., revealed that Joe called him to apologise after publicly accusing him of ruining his first nuptials.

‘He called me today to apologise,’ Diplo said during the segment.
The record producer hinted at the possibility of keeping up the charade for publicity, adding, ‘In England, they love the drama.’
He even mentioned that he and Joe had considered carrying on the feud purely as a joke, though mentioning it on a popular radio program makes that seemingly untenable.
The wedding seemed to have taken the Major Lazer artist by surprise.
‘I didn’t know it was a serious wedding. I really didn’t know what was going on. I was hanging out with him after the Billboard Awards… and I was, like, ‘This is crazy,” he told Ryan.
Burn: Diplo (real name: Thomas Wesley Pentz) previously fired back as part of his musician friend, saying the only thing that ‘ruined the wedding’ was the ‘fit’ of his suit
Joe originally claimed that Diplo ruined his wedding while making an appearance with his fellow Jonas Brothers, Kevin and Nick, though it was pretty clear even then that he wasn’t totally serious.

The source claimed: ‘Sophie was drinking champagne with her girlfriends and brunch was also delivered. Joe had a few shots with his groomsmen to ease the nerves.’
After the ceremony, Sophie, Joe and their guests headed to a reception at Château de Tourreau.
Ahead of the lavish nuptials, a glimpse into Sophie and Joe’s impending second wedding celebration was given through new aerial shots of the stunning Château, and a lavish, snowy white marquee could be seen in the scenic grounds of the estate, ready for the star-studded ceremony.
Sophie’s maid of honour Maisie Williams was spotted arriving with her boyfriend Reuben Selby as they both debuted newly dyed matching pink hair.

The Château is set away from prying eyes in 90 acres and was surrounded by security guards as guests began arriving.
Seeming to hint at a performance from Joe’s iconic band, The Jonas Brothers, keyboards and music stands were set up at the end of the marquee, ahead of the after-party.
The marquee was in prime position, set in a gorgeous courtyard, overlooking the scenic grounds and rolling hills.
Also among the guests who were spotted making their arrival was keyboardist Cole Whittle, 37, who plays in Joe’s band DNCE.

Speculation was rife that the actress, 36, would be adorned in a sari flown in from Bollywood by her mother Madhu, who was also due to be a guest.
