The Super Switch’s Marcus Weston was shown dialing Triple Zero in an explosive trailer for Wednesday’s episode, telling the operator he was being ‘held against his will’.
And his co-star Romina Anaquin has revealed the 33-year-old’s outburst came completely out of the blue and left the other participants terrified.
‘We were all scared because we didn’t know what was happening in his mind – he went from zero to 100 in a second,’ the dancer, 34, told TV Week on Monday.

Romina, who is Marcus’ experimental partner on the show, said the move was out of character for the man she knew.
Meanwhile, Marcus also told TV Week that he decided to call the police after he felt victimised by the other contestants during a group therapy session.
‘I spat it and walked out – I wanted to leave but they locked the door and wouldn’t let me out,’ he said.
Marcus said he copped an earful from the other participants after they watched footage of him arguing with his real-life partner Aimee, 29, in bed.
It is unclear which argument was being discussed, but the first episode of The Super Switch included a memorable scene in which Marcus and Aimee bickered about their sex life in bed. Marcus told his partner that he shows their dog ‘more love’ because the animal is ‘more appreciative’ of him.
During the group therapy session, Tyler Franko apparently tried to calm Marcus down after he snapped, but to no avail.
‘I think he thought I was stabbing him in the back. I know I grabbed his phone so he wouldn’t leave but he had this look in his eye,’ Tyler said.
He’s outta there! The promo shows Marcus dragging his suitcases down the stairs in a panic before the other participants block his path
An explosive trailer, which aired last Wednesday, showed Marcus calling Triple Zero and yelling that he wasn’t being allowed to leave.
He dragged his suitcases down the stairs in a panic before the other participants tried to block his path.
‘I’m just calling the cops!’ he said, to which Romina replied: ‘Marcus, you’re being beyond ridiculous now!’
