A Japanese sushi chef who worked for Kim Jong-un and his father has resurfaced in Pyongyang weeks after he was feared to enjoy vanished. 

Reports which emerged in Japan final month claimed that Kenji Fujimoto had been arrested on suspicion of a ‘previous betrayal’.  

The sushi specialist’s Pyongyang restaurant was feared to had been shut down amid claims he had equipped North Korean secrets and ways to the CIA.

However Britain’s ambassador to North Korea has published that Fujimoto is alive and successfully, sharing photos of his lunch on the restaurant on Tuesday.
