A mum almost died and misplaced a finger after growing toxic shock when she was scratched by a stray cat.

Moira Brady, forty five, developed lethal MRSA and Streptococcus A, which will cause critical bacterial infections, after she was clawed by a pussycat in her backyard in Glasgow, Scotland.
