All eyes will be on the red carpet when Australia’s biggest stars attend the TV Week Logie Awards next Sunday night.
And as celebrities make the final alterations to their dresses ahead of the main event on the Gold Coast, Daily Mail Australia looks back at the worst dressed over the years.
From bizarre frills to garish hues, extreme cleavage and cheap fabric, there has certainly been some shockers.
Leila McKinnon: 2018
From bizarre frills to garish hues, unflattering cuts and cheap fabric: A look at the worst dressed stars in Logie Awards history ahead of this month’s awards show. Pictured: Leila McKinnon, 46, in a futuristic tinsel-inspired frock in 2018
Channel Nine journalist Leila McKinnon, 46, stole the spotlight (for all the wrong reasons) in 2018 when she arrived on the red carpet in a futuristic tinsel-inspired frock.
The glitzy design showed off her cleavage and skimmed over her hourglass curves.
Leila’s makeup was equally as dramatic, consisting of a smoky eye-shadow and a generous application of blush.
Olympia Valance: 2017
Olympia Valance, 26, wore a rose-stamped creation by Con Ilio when she attended the Logies in 2017.
The billowing velvet skirt and over-sized print did little to flatter Olympia’s frame, while a bizarre head wrap failed to enhance her already overwhelming look.
Olympia is no stranger to making unusual style choices, but some fans were left distinctly unimpressed with her offering.

Tracy Grimshaw: 2009
A Current Affair’s Tracy Grimshaw, 59, made a questionable sartorial choice in 2009 when she stepped on the red carpet in a royal purple number with rhinestone detailing.
The frock’s voluminous cut and garish hue earned her a spot on many fans’ worst dressed lists.

Libby Babet: 2017
The Biggest Loser’s Libby Babet graced the Logies red carpet in an outfit that would polarise audiences in 2017.
Sauntering her way down the media wall, Libby, 35, turned heads in a glittering silver pencil dress covered in flamenco-inspired fringe detailing.
The trainer completed her eyebrow-raising ensemble with a pair of chunky white shoes and a dramatic ponytail.

Margot Robbie: 2009
In 2009, well before her Hollywood career took off, former Neighbours star Margot Robbie, 28, stepped out in a dramatic, flamenco-inspired, black and red mullet dress.
Despite being panned by fashion critics, Margot had attended as a nominee for the Most Popular New Female Talent award.

Prince Christian Wilkins: 2018
He’s the son of veteran entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins and is known to push the boundaries with fashion.
However the 23-year-old suffered a fashion faux-pas when he descended on the 2018 red carpet in a very casual look.
Christian opted for a red plaid frock, ill-fitting black pants underneath and black biker-style boots.

Gamble Breaux: 2016
The Real Housewives of Melbourne star stepped out in an OTT get-up that left little to the imagination at the 2016 Logies.
Gamble turned heads as she chose to accessorise with unusual leg jewels that overpowered her otherwise simple beige dress.
The frock’s side split showed off her trim pins, and she partnered the bizarre look with a pair of glitter-soaked heels.

Bonnie Sveen: 2017
Best known for playing Ricky Sharpe on Home and Away, Bonnie, 30, looked worlds away from her bikini babe character when she attended the Logies in 2017.
Clad in an unusual two-piece ensemble in grey brocade, the soap star looked decidedly uncomfortable as she posed on the red carpet.
Bonnie matched her look with black strappy heels that did little to flatter her petite frame.
Unusual: Home and Away star Bonnie Sveen, 30, sported an unusual two-piece in grey brocade at the 2017 ceremony
Georgie Parker: 2016
Home and Away star Georgie Parker missed the fashion mark in 2016 when she wore a bronze silk gown that swamped her slender frame.
The 54-year-old actress opted for a floor-length, plunging Constantina & Louise dress with ruched detailing around her stomach.
Making the look appear over the top, she also paired it with House of Emmanuele body jewellery and two cuffs that her dress’ fabric draped from.

Courtney Act: 2004
The red carpet at the 2004 Logies saw some colourful characters.

Rebecca Judd: 2017
Footy WAG Rebecca Judd’s J’Aton Couture frock was a fashion risk and featured an elaborate ruffled front and clashing pink and red lace.
And while the 36-year-old’s soft curls and makeup could not be faulted, the long-sleeved sheer design divided social media.
Not her best look: AFL WAG Rebecca Judd, 36, made a fashion risk in 2017 with a frock featuring an elaborate ruffled front and clashing pink and red lace
Cheryl Maitland: 2018
The former Married At First Sight star made her presence felt for all the wrong reasons.
Cheryl, 29, wore a burgundy strapless frock with bizarre see-through mesh under the bust.
Excessive draping of fabric flaring from the waist done swamped the hairdresser’s tiny frame.
Show-stopping… disaster: Former Married At First Sight star Cheryl Maitland, 29, made her presence felt at the 2018 Logies for all the wrong reasons
Lee Lin Chin: 2015
She’s the SBS newsreader who is known for her unique fashion sense.
And Lee Lin Chin never shies away from making a style statement: case in point, the 2015 Logie Awards.
That year, she wore a white T-shirt frock with lace leggings and sleeves, and accessorised with a large black hat featuring tulle wrapping around her face and neck.

Tania Zaetta: 2007
The former Who Dares Wins star turned heads when she wore a sari to the Logies in 2007.
Tania’s career was booming in India at the time, so she felt the need to bring some Bollywood glamour to the Aussie red carpet – but not everybody was a fan of the 48-year-old’s look.

Ash Williams: 2011
Meanwhile, radio star Ash Williams managed to take men’s style to outrageous levels at the 2011 Logies.
He arrived on the red carpet in tight metallic trousers and a silver jacket and covered his exposed chest with gold body paint.

Caitlin Stasey: 2015
She’s the controversial actress known for her strong opinions on sexuality and feminism, among other topics.
And Caitlin Stasey, 29, certainly made a statement at the 2015 Logie Awards when she sported a silver bull nose ring in her septum and wore an unflattering jumpsuit.

Susie Elelman: 2014
Susie Elelman, 65, is known for being a fashion risk-taker who regularly flaunts her ample assets on the red carpet.
In 2014, she put on an extremely eye-popping display as she showcased her impressive cleavage in a plunging dress.
Interestingly, she had worn the exact dress to the Logie Awards in 1995.
The 61st TV WEEK Logie Awards will take place on Sunday, June 30, at The Star on the Gold Coast
