Gotcha! Andy Cohen shared cute photos of four-month-old son Benjamin on his travels to Capitol on Monday to campaign the legalization of paid surrogacy in New York
In a couple of cute snaps the producer revealed his son is particularly fond right now of grabbing his nose to entertain himself.
‘Pro tip: Dad’s nose is capable of endless hours of entertainment! I had no clue!! #onedayatatime’ Andy, 51, joked.
On Monday Andy posted photos from his visit to Capitol with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
‘It was an honor to stand alongside Governor Cuomo yesterday to speak about the important role surrogacy has played in my life and why NY must pass the #ChildParentSecurityAct that will enable more families, like me and Benjamin, to be created!’ he wrote.
He loves his nose! The New York based dad welcomed Benjamin via surrogate earlier this year but had to go out of state to do it
Cute: During the trip the father and son visited friends
‘In the air! #fists #pjs #feet’: Andy captioned this mid flight shot on Sunday
‘How is surrogacy illegal in NY?? (We are only one of three states where it’s not legal, yet we are an allegedly progressive state.) I’m heading to Albany this morning to see if we can turn this around. #ModernFamiliesNY’
In Albany Andy shared more photos and wrote of his day lobbying: ‘Spent the day in Albany lobbying for passage of the #ChildParentSecurityAct
‘New York is one of 3 states where surrogacy is illegal, which seems draconian. If you live in NY, PLEASE call your local Assemblyperson and ask them to pass this. The vote is going to be very close and many democrats from Manhattan are poised to not represent their constituents & vote against it.

‘This measure has a groundbreaking Surrogates Bill of Rights that will protect women at all costs, and help infertile women and LGBTQ start families. This is about letting women choose what they want to do with their bodies while giving the ultimate gift to people who need help having children. Thanks for listening.’
During the day Andy talked about his personal experience with surrogacy and his shock that it was illegal in New York.
‘I come to New York from the Midwest so that I could be free to live my life, but I have to go to California to have a child. It seems absurd,’ Cohen said.
Showing his pride: Andy was happy to see a Pride flag flying outside Cuomo’s office
