‘The love better happen!’ Brittany Hockley takes a swipe at Nick Cummins as she gives a VERY stern warning to new Bachelor Matt Agnew
Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins became the most controversial Bachelor in the show’s history, after refusing to pick a winner during the dramatic finale last year.
And Brittany Hockley, who was one of the finalists to be brutally rejected by the Wallabies star, took a swipe at the footballer in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
The 30-year-old said love ‘better happen’ on the new season with Bachelor Matt Agnew – clearly referencing there wasn’t a happy ending on her season.

Brittany shared a photo of herself and Nick, 31, from the Face App where one interprets what one would look like as an elderly person.
Showing off her sense of humour, Brittany wrote in the caption: ‘The good old days. Can’t believe it’s been a year!’
However, the influencer took a swipe at Nick while simultaneously giving a stern warning to astrophysicist Matt Agnew, 31, who has signed on as this year’s Bachelor.
Stern warning! Alongside an aged photo of Brittany and Nick, Brittany wrote in the caption: ‘@drmattagnew you’d better knock it out of this universe. For me if for no-one else’
‘Can’t wait to watch the love happen again on @thebachelorau [and it had better happen] @drmattagnew you’d better knock it out of this universe. For me if for no-one else.’
Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time Brittany has taken a swipe at Nick.
The brunette told News Corp last Friday, that she, along with other contestants from last year’s season, received texts from Nick after the show had wrapped.
‘Oh yeah, he messaged everyone, he definitely didn’t just message Brooke [Blurton],’ she told the outlet.
‘He messaged everyone!’ Brittany told News Corp last Friday that Nick, 31, gave The Bachelor girls ‘false hope’ by reaching out AFTER the show
‘He messaged me, he messaged Soph [Tieman], I think even quite a lot of the other girls [on The Bachelor].’
Brittany said the messages gave her false hope, because she at least expected to have a friendship with Nick.
‘Of course [it gave false hope],’ she said. ‘If anything, I thought that at least [we’d be] good friends in life, but it has definitely not turned out that way.’
