A disastrous start to the new season was put to one side as beleaguered footballer Cesc Fabregas soaked up the sun with stunning wife Daniella Semann and their children on Sunday.
The AS Monaco star, who was sent off during the opening stages of the French club’s home defeat to Lyon on Friday, didn’t have a care in the world while venturing out in Portofino.
Indeed, if Fabregas, 32, had travelled to Italy’s Riviera coastline in order to forget his red card, then the healthy mix of sunshine and sea air appeared to do the trick as he joined his loved ones in an outdoor pool.
Quality time: A disastrous start to the new season was put to one side as beleaguered footballer Cesc Fabregas soaked up the sun with stunning wife Daniella Semann and their children in Portofino on Sunday
Accompanying her husband, Daniella, 44, caught the eye in a vibrant yellow bikini top and mismatched red bottoms while watching the sportsman swim from her vantage point on a nearby sun-lounger.
The Lebanese beauty looked toned and tanned during her latest appearance with Fabregas, little more than a week after the family concluded their pre-season break in Ibiza.
Settling down in the shade, the mother of five kept two of her five children entertained as they stretched out alongside her.

Daniella is 12 years older than her husband, but that didn’t stopped romance blossoming between the two, and Cesc proposed in December 2017.
The couple waited until the following summer – after a busy league season and the 2018 World Cup – to hold their celebratory bash in Ibiza.
They are parents to children Lia, six, Capri, three, and Leonardo, two, while Daniella also has two older children, Maria and Joseph, from her marriage to Elie Taktouk.

The family are still in a period of adjustment after relocating to the south of France from London, where Fabregas spent five successful years with Chelsea before signing for Monaco in January.
But after narrowly avoiding relegation with the club last season, Fabregas was singled out on Friday after his first full league campaign with Les Monegasques ended in dismissal.
The midfielder had originally been shown a yellow card for a foul on Leo Dubois but the decision was referred to VAR.
Replays showed Fabregas had raked his studs down the back of Dubois’ leg and the card was upgraded to red.
Let’s go: The kids were in hot pursuit as they followed their father back to his sun-lounger on Sunday
That’s better: Fabregas towelled himself off following his relaxing dip in the pool, with Daniella following suit after taking her own swim
Happy family: The footballer beamed as he occupied a sun-lounger next to Danielle and their young son
It’s only banter: There was even time for Fabregas to playfully poke his wife, much to her annoyance
