Chris Hemsworth reveals ‘his secret ingredient’ to blending the perfect workout smoothie – as he shows fans how to make the healthy drink at home
Chris Hemsworth is known for his Adonis-like physique and dedication to fitness.
And on Friday, the 35-year-old Avengers star shared his go-to smoothie recipe – and revealed the ‘secret ingredient’ that allows him to push himself in the gym.
In a video posted to Instagram by Centr, Chris is shown preparing the healthy drink using a blender in his kitchen.

Describing the smoothie’s ingredients, he says: ‘[There’s] a bit of protein powder, hemp seeds, kale, coconut, maca powder, chia seeds, magnesium, almond butter.
‘Banana, raspberries, strawberries… I don’t know, and a bit of magic!’
Chris joked that the best way to tell you’ve made a good workout smoothie is when ‘you lose count of the ingredients’.

Centr, which launched in February, is a mobile app dedicated to health, fitness and wellness.
The app includes meal plans, daily workouts, meditations and access to a 24/7 community offering support, tips and exclusive bonus content.
Centr can also be customised to suit any fitness level, dietary preference or lifestyle.

Chris, who created the app with trainers, wellness experts, chefs and meditation coaches, calls it a ‘ personalised digital health and fitness program’.
Other contributors to the app include Chris’ wife Elsa Pataky, celebrity personal trainer Luke Zocchi and yoga instructor Tahl Rinsky.
The Biggest Loser’s Tiffiny Hall, Hollywood body coach Gunnar Peterson and vegan bodybuilder Torre Washington are also featured.
