She was lucky enough to capture her one-year-old son Miles’ first steps earlier this week.
On Saturday, Chrissy Teigen shared a video of the cute toddler as he tried his best to speak his first words.
The 33-year-old model didn’t quite get there, but she did record some adorable babbling.

‘Who’s happy with his rib?’ asked the Lip Sync Battle co-star as Miles gnawed on a tasty-looking slab of meat.
‘Do you like your rib?’ she asked in a cooing voice, prompting him to respond in a ululating pseudo-language.
‘Miles, is it time for your first haircut?’ Chrissy asked, noting Miles’ stylishly shaggy ‘do.
‘What do you think? Is it time?’ she said as he seemed to give his grunting approval.

When she told Miles to say ‘yes’ or ‘no,’ he instantly replied with something between ‘nuh’ and ‘nyet,’ which caused his mom to erupt in laughter.
Chrissy also posted a photo of Miles with his impressive pompadour as he amused himself with some noodles on his high chair.
‘Miles helping test mom’s noodle soup recipes!’ she joked in the caption.
The Bring The Funny judge wasn’t content to just show off one of her precocious children.
She also posted a video to her Instagram stories of her and husband John Legend’s three-year-old daughter Luna as she spontaneously started dancing in a long shirt from Disney’s Frozen.

On Monday, the proud mother of two go lucky when she caught Miles taking his first steps.
In the video, which she titled ‘I think I just got his first real steps!’, Miles is seen toddling from a piece of furniture toward his mother, who is holding her camera phone.
When the tot takes a tentative step toward her, Chrissy can be heard saying, ‘Good job!’

Moments later, Miles turns, and begins toddling back the way he came, while his delighted mother of Lip Sync Battle fame encourages him with a ‘Go walk, go walk!’
Miles was the spitting image of his father John in the video.

Chrissy revealed Miles’ first word in an Instagram video she posted last month of him sitting in a high chair and chirping: ‘Yeah!’
He gave the same response to each question Chrissy’s mother Vilailuck asked him, including: ‘Do you love Yāy?’ – the Thai word for grandma.
Miles instantly said: ‘Yeah!’ repeating the word when Vilailuck asked: ‘You love Mommy? You love Luna? You love Dada? You love Pa?’
Chrissy captioned: ‘when your first word is “yeah!,”‘ adding in a comment: ‘Luna’s first word was “no”. They’re exactly us.’
The model has been open about welcoming both her children via in vitro fertilization and experiencing postpartum depression when Luna was born.
She told Glamour of being diagnosed: ‘I remember being so exhausted but happy to know that we could finally get on the path of getting better.’
