The Disney D23 Expo brought out a bevy of stars to Anaheim, California on Saturday.
And three major motion picture stars – Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac and John Boyega – commanded attention as they promoted Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker.
Daisy dazzled in a sleeveless black frock as the gentlemen cut dapper figures on stage for the annual event showcasing upcoming projects from juggernaut studio.

Meanwhile, a new poster for Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker was revealed.
And the audience at the panel also were among the first to see new footage from Episode IX in an all-action sizzle reel.
It starts, ominously, with a fleet of star destroyers in the atmosphere of an unknown planet, according to The Hollywod Reporter.
Cut to Rey, played by Daisy Ridley, and Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren fighting on a downed ship in the middle of an ocean as waves crash around them.

The biggest reveal occurred at the end with Rey wearing a dark hood as she wielded a double-sided lightsaber, the first time the weapon has been seen.
The footage hasn’t been released online. Other reveals include a first look at Keri Russell’s mysterious character.
The costume featured a helmet and a red suit. Keri told the audience: ‘She’s very cool and a little bit shady. She’s kind of a criminal, and an old friend of Poe’s,’ played by Oscar Isaac.

She’s back: Director J.J. Adams revealed that the late Carrie Fisher will return as Princess Leia in Star Wars IX using previously filmed footage. Carried died of a heart attack in Dec. 2016

Meanwhile, director J.J. Abrams revealed that the late Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia, will appear in the film.
‘The character of Leia is really, in a way, the heart of this story,’ he said. ‘We realized we could not possibly tell the end of these nine films without Leia.
‘We realized that we had footage from Episode VII, and we could use it in a new way,’ he shared.
Carrie died of a heart attack on December 27, 2016, four days after a medical emergency on a flight from London to Los Angeles.

Daisy and several other cast members were at the event to debut the new content.
The cast also includes Lupita Nyong’o and Domhnall Gleeson along with franchise newcomer Richard E. Grant.
Original Star Wars actors including Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) and Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) will return.
Directed and co-written by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20.
