Weddings details: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson took a ribbing from Jungle Cruise co-star Emily Blunt about not being given enough time to make it to his private Hawaiian wedding
The interview started with the reporter congratulating Johnson on his marriage to longtime love Lauren Hashian.
‘I feel great. I was a beautiful ceremony and it was phenomenal,’ Johnson said of his nuptials earlier this month.
That’s when Blunt began to take her jabs at her friend and said she ‘didn’t even get the invite which was sort of strange.’
With his trademark big smile beaming, he shot back, ‘You did, you got an e-vite.
Friendly banter: After some funny give-and-take about Johnson’s impromptu ceremony, Blunt joked, ‘I heard about the wedding and like about an hour later you were married, so I didn’t have any opportunity to jump on a plane and celebrate this’
But apparently there wasn’t enough notice for her to attend.
‘Well, it came way too late,’ she added before revealing she was on location in Buffalo shooting A Quiet Place 2.
‘I heard about the wedding and like about an hour later you were married, so I didn’t have any opportunity to jump on a plane and celebrate this.’
Johnson also joked about being at the Expo in Anaheim, California ‘when he’s supposed to be on a honeymoon.’
The actor then revealed that he was hopping on a plane after the Disney event so he and his new wife can go on their honeymoon.
