However, her advice didn’t go down well with one of the male trainers.

‘One of the other trainers pulled me up on camera and said this is a weight loss show and weighing yourself is necessary,’ Fiona wrote.

‘I stood my ground and responded by saying that I didn’t feel he understood the psychological effects that scales and ‘weighing in’ can have on females,’ she continued.

Fiona went on: ‘That trainer got pretty angry for questioning him and threw it back in my face by saying ‘this coming from a girl who regained all the weight’.

Despite being left upset by the trainer’s words, she refused to back down and agreed to disagree with his opinions.

While Fiona failed to specificity the trainer's name in her article, only two male trainers appeared on The Biggest Loser in 2015- Steve 'Commando' Willis (far left) and Shannan Ponton (far right). Pictured second left is Tiffiniy Hall, second right is Michelle Bridges
