She has been starring alongside Suranne Jones in the BBC drama, Gentleman Jack.

But Sophie Rundle took time  out of her hectic schedule as she enjoyed a low-key walk in the park with her pet pooch in London on Monday.

The actress, 31, cut a casually cool figure in a pair of denim dungarees as she got comfortable on the grass to take a series of selfie.

Sophie was dressed perfectly for her outing in the loose-fitting one-piece which she teamed over a plaid mustard coloured top.

The TV star opted for only a simple slick of make-up, while pulling her brunette locks into a low-key bun and shielding herself from the rays with a pair of shades.

The Newcastle native was keen on enjoying the outing, as she whipped off her outerwear and sat down.

Cuddling up to her sweet dog, Sophie did the best to get them both in shot as she snapped away.

Sophie is currently seeing incredible success on the new show, Gentleman Jack.

The BBC series follows the romance between landowner Anne and heiress Ann who are believed to have met in 1832, in a time when homosexuality was both a crime and a taboo.

Meanwhile, Suranne previously admitted that she had an instant connection with screen lover Sophie, 31, while filming lesbian sex scenes on the set of lusty new drama.

The former soap star has won praise for her role as amorous 19th century landowner Anne, frequently described as the world’s ‘first modern lesbian.’

And she admits the show’s realism, specifically its steamy sex scenes, stemmed from her instant chemistry with Rundle.

‘We used the camera to come in on us and find intimate moments, which was really great, because we were able to just play that between us like no one else was in the room,’ she told The Sun.

‘By the end me and Sophie were like two nans’ with a cup of tea. Like, covers off, hanging out and it was great. But we needed to get to know each other to be able to do that.’

She added: ‘We had a ‘chemistry read’ first and when Sophie was cast, I knew straight away, “That’s my girl.” Mine and Sophie’s chemistry grew as you see it in real time, throughout the eight episodes.’
