Georgia Toffolo has revealed she’s backing Brexit despite voting Remain in the referendum… and calls for Boris Johnson to be next Prime Minister

Georgia Toffolo has thrown her weight behind Britain’s Leave party after previously voting to remain within the European Union.

The Made in Chelsea star, who describes herself as ‘very pro-immigration’, voted against Brexit during the 2016 referendum after disregarding the leave camp’s growing argument regarding migration.

But with the country no closer to an exit some three years after Leave claimed victory by a slender three percent margin, Georgia, 24, admits her politics have changed.

She told The Telegraph: ‘We need to leave, deal or no deal. The mood of the country is that we’re bored, we’re angry, we voted to leave.

‘And there are lots of calls for a second referendum, but if that does happen, I would be very, very upset.’

The TV personality, a lifelong Tory voter, also picked Jeremy Hunt and Boris Johnson as favourites to take over from beleaguered Prime Minister Theresa May and guide Britain out of the EU.

But she admits her greater loyalties lie with Boris, having formed a close friendship with his father Stanley during their appearance on reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

She said: ‘I’m a slight betting woman and had money on Jeremy Hunt at the end of last year, because the odds were really good, 18-1 or something.

‘I think it’ll be Hunt and Boris in the end, and as a great friend of Stanley’s I’d have to put my backing behind Boris.’

Georgia’s comments come after MailOnline revealed she was spending time with a wealthy aristocrat and former adviser to Nigel Farage who served time in a US jail for offering to launder money for drug lords.

The I’m a Celebrity winner is rumoured to be dating George Cottrell, known by Farage’s advisers as ‘Posh George’ whose family are said to be worth £300million.

Friends say she has been dating millionaire Cottrell, 25, for just over a month after meeting him at a social event.
