Too much Facetune! Grant Denyer’s wife Chezzi, 39, looks completely unrecognisable with flawless skin in her latest Instagram selfie – but she insists it’s just her ‘tired face’

Grant Denyer’s wife Chezzi may have taken her enthusiasm for photo-editing app Facetune a little too far on Wednesday.

The 39-year-old shared a picture to Instagram of what she described as her ‘exhausted face’, after spending the entire day travelling.

But it was clear she’d made efforts to look as glamorous as possible, enhancing her appearance with a flattering filter.

‘This is my exhausted face,’ Chezzi wrote in the caption.

‘Sitting in the back of a cab stuck in Sydney traffic, for the fifth time today. It’s taken me longer to go from Leichhardt to Bondi, then it did to fly to Sydney from Bathurst this morning.’

In the photo, the mother-of-two displayed a flawless and taut complexion, prompting one of her fans to comment: ‘I wish I looked that beautiful when exhausted!’

Keeping it real: Chezzi often shares 'candid' and 'makeup-free' photos to Instagram, alongside lengthy captions about her less-than-glamorous family life. Pictured with her husband Grant

‘You look very pretty,’ another follower wrote.

A similar comment read: ‘Looking good if that is your tired face! You should see mine, bloody scary!’

In a statement to Daily Mail Australia, Chezzi denied that her polished appearance is the result of any ‘cosmetic enhancements’.

She explained: ‘I had my Logies makeup trial yesterday so my skin looked amazing! Plus, in prep for the Logies I’ve also been doing weekly peels at home which has really helped my skin look nice and fresh.

‘And on top of that, I’ve been walking and eating lots of salads and drinking nearly three litres of water [per day] in the past two months, and I’ve lost five kilos which has a great impact on skin and my face shape I’ve found.’

Sharing a glowing selfie, she wrote in the caption: ‘I woke up this morning feeling electric. I’ve got a real bounce in my step. A real energy. A lightness.

‘My face isn’t as puffy either. My skin is healthy. My eyes are luminous.’
