Duff, 31, appeared smitten with her little one at the start of the video as she squeezed a squeaky ball to entertain her.

She then gave little Banks, eight months, a chance to test the waters in a MamboBaby pink float as she wore a palm leaf-patterned swimsuit with fluorescent pink feathers sewn onto its straps.

Next, Duff’s hand flashed in front of the camera filled with diced mangoes for her daughter to snack on.

Banks had quite the appetite and grabbed as much as her tiny fists could carry, stuffing the fruit into her mouth.

‘So greedy,’ Duff captioned the video.

The adorable clips come as Duff admitted her experience with motherhood hasn’t been all all about the sunshine.

‘It was a little isolating in the beginning because I didn’t have any friends that had babies yet,’ she said of becoming a mom at 24 back in 2012 to son Luca, seven to Liz Tenety on the The Motherly Podcast.

‘I don’t remember setting him down for the first three months of life,’ she said.

‘I knew it was the most important, biggest job in the world, but it looks very different once you’re just in the household with the baby by yourself all the time.’

But eventually, things started to look up for Duff – and she ‘came out on the other side, like “I’m freaking superwoman.””

Duff shares Luca with ex-husband, hockey player Mike Comrie.

She shares Banks with fiancé Matthew Koma.
