‘You feel like an animal in a cage’: Hollywood star Keanu Reeves reveals the struggles of living in the public eye and says his home is constantly surrounded by fans
Keanu Reeves is one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, having shot to fame back in the late 1980s after starring as Theodore ‘Ted’ Logan in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure.
But the 54-year-old actor has revealed he’s struggled with becoming a household name, admitting he sometimes feels like a ‘caged animal’ as a result.
Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph, Keanu said he often struggles with star spotters, who sit outside his Los Angeles mansion.

‘Ill come out in the morning and get my newspaper (and they’re there). You feel like an animal in a cage,’ he said.
Keanu explained that there are often tourists, vans, and trucks are parked outside of his West Hollywood home.
‘They visit everyone’s homes and sit outside,’ he added.

‘They look at you like: ‘There’s One!’ And I get it. But walking around LA, no one cares pretty much.’
Elsewhere, the John Wick star explained that he also practiced meditation, which he liked to do in order to stay calm.
‘I don’t meditate regularly, but I highly recommend it,’ he said.

It comes after the Matrix hunk dished the details on a in the works sequel for Bill and Ted franchise, entitled Bill and Ted Face The Music.
Appearing on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Friday night, Keanu revealed that the new movie will explore what life is like for Bill and Ted now that they have families.
The story will see the best friends battle against time do write a song that will save the universe.
The film is scheduled for a release on August 21, 2020.
