Kelly Ripa posts heartwarming throwback photo of daughter Lola’s christening as the 18-year-old heads off to college
Any parent would agree that time flies when raising children, and Kelly Ripa is one astonished mother.
On Thursday, the daytime talk show queen posted an emotional throwback photo from 2001, when her then infant daughter Lola was being christened.
Ripa posted the memory on the occasion of Lola heading off to college, now that she’s 18 years old.

‘#tbt 2001 from your Christening to college. In the blink of an eye,’ Ripa captioned the pic, which shows her and husband Mark Consuelos looking down adoringly at their baby daughter.
‘I’m not crying. You’re crying (actually Daddy’s sobbing)’ she concluded the caption, with some teary-faced crying emojis.
Ripa met her husband while they were filming daytime soap All My Children in the Nineties.
They also have two sons, Michael, 22, and Joaquin, 16.

Last week, Kelly stopped by Jerry O’Connell’s new daytime show, Jerry O’, and while there shared a story about Lola and her prom dress.
In front of an Instagram picture of mom and daughter before Lola’s prom, Kelly revealed to Jerry that her somewhat rebellious daughter actually altered the dress without her consent.
Lola’s goal: to make the dress sexier.
