She’s the Melbourne mother who impressed the judges with her pole dancing act. 

And on Sunday, Kristy Sellars took home the top prize of $100,000 after winning this season of Australia’s Got Talent.   

Following her performance to the song Unsteady by X Ambassadors, the mother-of-three was crowned the winner after voting lines were opened to the public.

Kristy had earned her place in the Grand Final after winning the judges choice with her powerful act.  

Nicole Scherzinger, Shane Jacobson, Manu Feildel and Lucy Durack complimented Kristy on her impressive display. 

‘You make me so proud to be a woman, that was profound. You bring power and depth and meaning to pole dancing,’ Nicole said.

Lucy was also stunned by Kristy’s emotional performance and praised her on telling a story through dance.

‘That was the ultimate Grand Final performance. What impressed me the most was you told this most beautiful and important story and you made us feel,’ Lucy said. 

Shane Jacobson added: ‘Never stop what you’re doing. You do it with such power and yet you’re happy to show us your emotions.’

Meanwhile, Manu took to Instagram to congratulate Kristy on winning the talent show. 

The celebrity chef shared a snap of himself embracing the mother-of-three shortly after her win. 

‘Congratulations to the amazingly talented super mum @kristysellars. Such a deserving winner of @gottalentau,’ he captioned the post.

While waiting to hear the final verdict, a nervous Kristy was joined by her husband and eight-year-old daughter Rylie on stage. 

‘I thought I was going to hold it together until I saw this one,’ she said while looking at Rylie.

The mother, who gave birth of her third child just six months ago, said she plans to create more shows with the prize money. 

‘I love the faces of kids and adults when they watch these performances,’ she said. 

She continued: ‘Seeing them become completely immersed in another world where they can imagine and dream and be young again. I think we need more of this in the day and age we live in.’
