While faced with the decision over who should be evicted over George and Lucie or Curtis and Amy, Ovie was seen to plead with Anna to save his pal, who he entered Casa Amor with: ‘If George leaves I’m basically by myself.’

Anna however was opposed to the idea, so when they made the announcement, she stated: ‘Particularly the guy is very close friends with Ovie, but…’, shortly before Ovie put his head in his hands and began weeping.

Initially oblivious, Anna then noticed and said to Molly-Mae: ‘Is he crying?’, before the influencer stated: ‘I think he’s upset’, and Lucie said: ‘Aww bless him’. The brave basketball player: ‘I’m cool man. I’m cool. I’m cool.’

Lucie and George were subsequently axed from the villa during the dramatic double dumping which saw their fellow Islanders vote to save Amy and Curtis instead.

It was soon revealed that it would be Lucie and George heading for the airport, as only her pal Maura voted to save them during the vote off.

The contestants were given a few moments to discuss in their couples who they think should be dumped from the villa.

Debating the decision, Molly-Mae told Tommy: ‘You’re best friends with Curtis and I’m close with Amy but we need to think of couples.’

Michael then told his partner Joanna: ‘I love Lucie but she has had a few chances and George hasn’t really thrown himself into the process.’
