Love Island: Joe and Elma are DUMPED from the villa

Joe Garratt has been dumped from the Love Island villa following almost 800 Ofcom complaints about his “controlling” behaviour.

The sandwich delivery man, 22, was the subject of hundreds of complaints when his partner Lucie Donlan broke down in tears after he suggested she spend more time with the girls in the infamous villa, rather than the boys.

Elma Paza was also voted as the other islander to leave as her partner Anton Danyluk was saved from eviction in the public vote.

Joe, 22, was booted off the show, mere hours after he apologised to Lucie, 21, for his jealousy issues, which stemmed from her close relationship with Tommy Fury.

Viewers had the final say, voting to save Anton and Lucie, before Caroline headed into the villa to deliver the verdict.

She said: ‘Lucie should stay on the show. We’ve got no worries over her what so ever, she’s very happy. The support given to her and us as a family by ITV has been amazing.’

Elma said: ‘We get on but I made it clear that I wouldn’t want to tread on your toes.’

To which the Irish ring girl, 28, hit back: ‘Girl-code. I just wouldn’t. I don’t want to get into another love triangle especially with my friend.’

Venting in the Beach Hut, Elma vented: ‘You can’t just claim people. It doesn’t really work like that. I mean have him! They’re not even in a bloody couple! He’s hot that f**king special. Do you know what I mean?’

The eyelash technician later confided in Molly-Mae Hague: ‘I wish I had just left it because it looked like I had something to apologise for when I didn’t. She sat there and went on about girl-code when she did worse to you [Molly-Mae].’

‘It’s hard to accept that Danny’s feelings are real and genuine. If I continue the way I am I will, 100 per cent, push him away it insecurities I need to fix within myself. Until those issues are resolved I don’t think we can really move forward.’

Concerned: Speaking to Danny on the day bed, Yewande asked: 'If someone came in tomorrow would you get to know them?'

Yewande prompted: ‘I’m not going to be offended.’

To which Danny said: ‘I don’t think you get how much I like you I think you just think you just don’t believe you don’t want to get yourself hurt. How I feel about you, is ridiculous considering I don’t really know you.’

He later added in the Beach Hut: ‘Yewande can be reserved i’m prepared to graft. There is so much potential that needs a bit unlocking.’

However, after a conversation with Curtis Pritchard, Danny said: ‘Maybe we’re not on the same page’.
