When asked whether there would be any possibility of her reuniting with Curtis in the future, Amy abruptly said: ‘No. Too much has happened now.

‘I want to be his mate, I want to look after him because I worry about what’s going to happen when he comes out; but too much has happened there and I need someone that’s conscious of my feelings.

‘As much as he’s a good guy and I love him to death as a friend now – I’m looking forward to taking him out for mini golf and going out and getting absolutely trashed – that’s it for me now. Just friends.’

Amy also revealed that she doesn’t want to contact Curtis first when he finally leaves the villa, and out of respect for his new relationship with Maura will wait for him to reach out first.

She then decided it would be too hard to live with Curtis – and to watch him flirt with new love interest Maura – and that she felt it best she went home.

Speaking during her debut as a panel on Loose Women, she revealed: ”Curtis did say to me “I do see a future with you” otherwise I wouldn’t [have planned] holidays with [him!]. And one day we were lying on the deck he gave me a kiss and said ‘love you lots’, and I thought, “Oh!”

‘And then he went to the boys and said “I just said I love Amy” by accident.

‘But then for his head to turn anyway, I think anything can happen in that villa people are raving mad.’

And Amy also recently revealed it would have ‘absolutely killed her’ to see him ‘cracking on with Maura’ if she had chosen to stay in the Love Island villa.

But Amy, who has taken the world by storm since flying back from Mallorca, admitted her heartbreak is beginning to heal and even feels ‘happy’ for Curtis and new love interest Maura.
