Love Island’s Amber Gill admits it’s ‘not going to be easy’ making long-distance work with Greg

They spent two weeks living together 24/7 before they were crowned the Love Island champions.

Now Amber Gill has admitted she’s under no illusion that it’ll be easy to maintain her relationship with Greg O’Shea, as she’s returned home to Newcastle and he resides in Ireland.

Appearing alongside her mother Vanessa on Wednesday’s episode of This Morning, the 21-year-old reality star insisted that she’s going to work hard to keep things going with Greg, 24, whilst they live 450 miles apart.

Amber insisted: ‘I don’t think it’s going to be easy but if you want to make it work… I’m not stuck in one place.’

As hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes asked whether she was in love, Amber reasoned: ‘I couldn’t possibly say that… It’s going really well.

‘In the villa we kept things moving slowly and we want to continue doing that.’

The interview came the day after Greg flew home to Limerick and shared a sweet selfie of the couple snuggled up in bed that he captioned: ‘Home tomorrow and leaving this one in London. Might miss her a little bit’.

‘It was total shock. I think I’ve watched all the previous series and boyfriend and girlfriends win. I’d only been with Greg for two weeks, but obviously people liked what they saw.’
