However, a source close to Amy’s family have hit back at the pal’s claims and told MailOnline that they are ‘hurtful’.

The claims come after an eventful few days in the Love Island villa for Amy after she was left feeling mugged off after her partner Curtis rated Arabella’s snogging skills 10/10 while only offering her a measly 7/10.

The hunk previously claimed that his head wouldn’t be turned since finding romance with Amy during the early stages of the series.

However he didn’t appear to be complaining while passionately kissing the newbie, while his furious girlfriend watched on from behind her hands.

The boys lined up but they were unable to see or hear the girl who they were kissing, while each girl took their turn to kiss each of the boys.

The boys then rated each girl’s kiss out of ten and Curtis kindly offered Arabella a 10 and claimed it was because he thought it was Amy.

As Amy took to the stage, Curtis rated her kiss a seven out of ten but after Arabella soon followed, he gives her full marks. Curtis said about his kiss with Arabella ‘Good connection. It was a ten.’

A furious Amy visited the Beach Hut, and said: ‘Curtis gave supermodel Arabella a ten because it was a great connection. And he gave me a seven so that’s not cool.’

Following the challenge Amy had stern words with Curtis in the kitchen, before storming off in annoyance after claiming she was upset that everyone was laughing.

However, the couple later went on a romantic date where they soon reconciled, with Curtis treating Amy to a passionate kiss.

Love Island continues Sunday at 9pm on ITV2.
