‘I regret putting my trust in the wrong person’: Married at First Sight star is forced to tell her PARENTS she filmed a sex tape after it was shared without her consent
It isn’t every day that you have to warn your family about a potential sex tape leak, but that’s the shocking reality for one Married at First Sight star.
Anna Saxton is one of 12 participants currently filming the New Zealand version of the reality show, in which couples meet for the first time at the altar after being ‘scientifically matched’ by relationship experts.
In preparation for her moment in the spotlight, Anna was forced to disclose to the show’s producers and her parents that explicit footage of her could be made public.

‘I don’t regret [making a sex tape], but I do regret putting my trust in the wrong person,’ she told Stuff.
Anna explained that she was previously dating a man whom she decided to film a sex tape with. He later shared the tape with his friends.
Anna is unaware who has seen the footage or where it might end up, so she decided to preemptively warn her family about the tape’s existence.

‘I want to front foot everything, and be really open and honest – that’s why I decided to speak about it,’ she said. ‘It is what it is. I love my body and I think I look great.
‘It’s fine, and honestly I’m pretty happy talking about it now.’
Australian MAFS star Jessika Power has defended Anna, messaging her privately via Instagram.
Anna later publicly shared her supportive message, which read: ‘You didn’t make any mistakes because in that moment when you were doing whatever it was you were doing it’s exactly what you wanted. Don’t read the comments. I block and delete.’

While Anna confirms the sex was consensual, as was the decision to film it, she did not consent to her then-boyfriend sharing the footage,
She did not discover he had shared the video with his friends until she checked his phone and saw he had posted a clip on group chat.
Their relationship ended shortly after, and now Anna has a word of advice for those thinking about making a sex tape with their partner.
‘If you’re going to do something like this, think if you really trust the other person. It can have really big consequences,’ she said.
