‘It will be a hoot actually!’ Former Married At First Sight star Mick Gould is raffling off a VIP lunch date for one lucky fan …but it’s all for a good cause
He was the larrikin farmer who became a household name after he made it his mission to find himself a bride on Married at First Sight.
And now, Mick Gould has set his sights on a new goal – to help battling Aussie farmers who have been hit hard by the drought.
‘It will be a hoot actually!’ Former Married At First Sight star Mick Gould (pictured) has revealed he is raffling off a VIP lunch date for one lucky fan
‘For as little as $10 you can donate to the cause and your number could get, you know, drawn out and there you are away with me on Sydney Harbour,’ Mick said.
He revealed the winner would get return airfares to Sydney, four-star accommodation, lunch with himself and VIP tickets to a party on the harbour.
‘It will be a hoot actually,’ Mick quipped before saying he just hopes the event will raise enough money and get it out there to people who desperately need it.

Today Extra co-host Sonia Kruger then asked Mick to comment on a recent photo he posted, where he appeared naked to raise awareness for farmer’s mental health.
‘You’re not putting that photo up, are you? Fair dinkum!’ Mick asked, before Sonia and her co-host David Campbell laughed.
Sonia continued to ask: ‘What did you do with the sheep while you were taking this photo, because I would be concerned about grazing?’
Loves a cause! Mick has also commented on a photo he posted, where he appeared naked to raise awareness for farmer’s mental health. ‘The sheep were way out there so luckily they didn’t have to, you know, see anything they haven’t before’ he joked
Mick replied: ‘The sheep were way out there so luckily they didn’t have to, you know, see anything they haven’t before.’
After the trio laughed over the absurdity of the photo, the farmer concluded by taking the conversation back to a more series note.
‘It will be a big shindig. I am really looking forward to it. The people who win, getting to talk to them more about what’s happening out there (in the outback),’ he said.
