While little is known about the plot of Last Night In Soho, leading stars Matt and Anya join Leave No Trace‘s Thomasin in the film.

A source teased details on the storyline to Collider: ‘The film will take place in two different time periods — the ’60s and modern day.

‘Taylor-Joy will play the lead in the ’60s, while McKenzie will play a fashion student in modern day scenes.

‘I hear Smith will be playing Taylor-Joy’s manager of sorts, though it’s unclear whether that makes her an actress, a singer or something else entirely.’

On his inspiration behind the film, director Edgar told Empire: ‘I realised I had never made a film about central London – specifically Soho, somewhere I’ve spent a huge amount of time in the last 25 years.

‘With Hot Fuzz and Shaun Of The Dead you make movies about places you’ve lived in. This movie is about the London I’ve existed in.’
