She was the breath of fresh air Stranger Things viewers didn’t know they needed this season, and it turns out, she sings too.

Maya Hawke, the 21-year-old daughter of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, visited the SiriusXM studio on Wednesday in New York City to discuss something beyond her acting pursuits: her singing career and new single, entitled To Love A Boy.

Maya was dressed in a very tasteful grey plaid suit for the appearance, worn over a darker grey t-shirt that featured bright yellow graphics.

The singer-actress had a sweet headband in her hair, and completed the ensemble with super-cute square-toed magenta heels.

Hawke was at SiriusXM to visit the set of Larry Flick radio show.

She was there to discuss the new single, which was accompanied by a music video published on Monday that featured Maya in a mermaid costume wandering around Los Angeles.

The music video has an intended low-budget, student-film feel, but the young performer’s folksy vocals are very professional sounding.

Maya, who has a 17-year-old brother named Levon Roan, reportedly spent her own money on the production of the music video.

In addition to To Love a Boy, Hawke also released a single titled Stay Open.

Aside from her budding singing career, the star is also continuing to pursue acting after being one of the breakout stars of season three of Stranger Things, in which she portrayed queer character Robin.

In addition to appearing in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A In Hollywood this summer, Hawke has two other features in post-production, as well as a short film.
