The Good Omens actor is expecting a child with Anna and appearing on Good Morning Britain, he was asked about the news and he said it is: ‘very exciting.’
Michael, who is father to Lily from a relationship with his ex partner Kate Beckinsale, seemed to imply he could be having a daughter.

Michael was delighted to reveal he was going to be a dad again in his social media post, tweeting: ‘Very happy to let everyone know that my partner Anna and I are expecting a little angel of our own. (Just to be clear, we’re having a baby!) #nottheantichrist.’ (sic)
Previously, Michael said parenting is the ‘most challenging’ job yet he revealed it is a necessary and rewarding role.
He told The Guardian in 2010: ‘I think being a parent is the most challenging thing you do. That’s why we’re here. It’s at the heart of what it is to be a human being.
‘It’s the ultimate experience because it questions everything about who you are. But it’s difficult.
‘My job takes me away from my daughter, Lily a lot, so when I am with her the time is really important.’

Michael’s new relationship with Anna comes just months after he split from his comedian ex Aisling Bea, 35, who he dated from April 2018 to early 2019.
It is unclear when they split but they were last pictured together in December 2018, with Aisling sparking romance rumours with Andrew Garfield three months later.
The Far From The Madding Crowd star has been swept up in a whirlwind romance with Anna since the couple went Instagram official.
Anna, who bills herself as a ‘Swedish/NYC actress currently living in the UK’, shared a series of loved-up snaps with Michael as she accompanied him to the New York screening and London world premiere of his new show, Good Omens.
In one smitten snap, a glamorous Anna posed arm-in-arm with a suited and booted Michael in London, with the beauty writing: ‘What an incredible night to be a part of!

She also shared a photo of the pair holding hands as they watched the fantasy epic.

The pair’s relationship has apparently gone from strength to strength as the couple enjoyed a ‘glamping’ holiday in West Wales.
