The beauty said: ‘I think putting a competitive person in an environment where they need to compete means they’re going to do what they need to do to get the man that they want.’

Nichole added: ‘It was within her personality to want to fight for him, and to do whatever it takes to have him.’

The brunette went on to say that her on-screen rival Abbie was a very competitive person and that was her way of going about it.

On Thursday’s episode of The Bachelor, Abbie, 23, told her fellow rivals that she would not kiss the 32-year-old astrophysicist.

Abbie then won a one-on-one date with him, and all her earlier promises went out the window.

She not only locked lips with the Bachelor but confessed to getting hot and heavy when approached by the girls afterwards.

After the episode aired, the blonde insisted to 10 Daily that there was ‘no malice’ behind her actions, as she thought Matt wouldn’t make a move on her.

‘I did say I wouldn’t kiss him, because at the time I was like, ‘As if The Bachelor is going to kiss me, he’s so hot!’ but then we went in for the kiss!’ she explained.

Heading back to the mansion after the steamy smooch, Abbie planned on giving her rivals a ‘dot point version’ of what went down.
