In the midst of Phoebe’s split from NRL star Sam, Jemima shared a post on Monday in which she praised the ‘beautiful’ women in her family.

The accompanying image included lines from a poem by F. Scott Fitzgerald, which read: ‘She was beautiful for her ability to make other people smile, even if she was sad.

‘No, she wan’t beautiful for something as temporary as her looks. She was beautiful, deep down to her soul.’

Jemima tagged her sisters, Phoebe and Harriet, and their mother, Sarah, in the post.  She also tagged Katie Fairbanks, to whom she is related by marriage.

Jemima and Phoebe’s close bond has become evident in the months following Phoebe’s initial split from Sam in December last year.

In late January, it was reported that Jemima, Gene and their daughter Sibbie Lou were staying at Phoebe’s home in Maroubra to assist her through the break-up.

Phoebe has also been staying in Jemima’s southern highlands hometown for the past week, after separating from Sam for a second time ‘several weeks ago’.

Jemima’s Instagram post came just hours before Phoebe’s sister-in-law, Joanna Burgess, who is married to Sam’s brother George, took a public swipe at Phoebe.

Joanna made a clear statement by sharing a photo to Instagram from a recent Burgess family reunion, which Phoebe was presumably not invited to.

There have long been rumours of a feud between the sisters-in-law, who are believed to have never been friends.

On Sunday, it was reported that police had taken out a temporary apprehended violence order (AVO) on Sam on behalf of his estranged wife’s father.

Sam was visiting his children at his father-in-law Mitchell Hooke’s home in Bowral on Saturday when the pair began arguing.

Phoebe was not home at the time, but is apparently preparing to relocate there with her two-year-old daughter Poppy and 10-month-old son Billy to be closer to her family.
