Piers has been on a high since Sunday, when he led the World XI team to victory at the Soccer Aid charity match.
Basking in the triumph throughout Monday’s show, Piers strutted into the studio with his winning trophy after beating Susanna, who had been manager for the England team.
Branding Reid a ‘snowflake manager’ for failing to beat a Rest of the World team that included Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt and Line Of Duty star Martin Compston, Piers harked back to his win by repeatedly playing Queen hit We Are The Champions.
‘The winner got this, not the loser,’ he chirped. ‘The losers were Susanna’s team! It’s snowflake city where everyone gets a trophy – you either win, or lose!’
