Piers Morgan sarcastically apologises for saying ‘t*t’ on GMB… as he marks Line Of Duty star Vicky McClure’s birthday with THAT viral put-down

Piers Morgan made a sarcastic apology on Wednesday’s Good Morning Britain, after he repeated Vicky McClure’s viral put-down from Sunday’s Line Of Duty finale.

The presenter put on a high-pitched voice to deliver a sarcastic disclaimer for using the word ‘t*t’, after they replayed a clip from the BBC police drama to celebrate Vicky’s 36th birthday.

It comes after Line Of Duty fans were sent into a tailspin on Sunday when Vicky’s DI Kate Fleming brutally told DI Michelle Brandyce to ‘stop making a t*t of yourself and p**s off.’

Piers paid homage to Vicky at the start of the show by replaying the clip of Vicky’s famous line, which saw Brandyce trying to worm her way into a private conversation between Fleming and DS Steve Arnott (Martin Compston).

Without a flinch, Fleming turns to Brandyce and says: ‘It’s Michelle isn’t it? Listen Michelle, we’re AC-12.

‘We do this to other units week in, week out so don’t try telling me how it works. We’re witnesses not suspects, so stop making a t*t of yourself and p**s off.’
