Ryan Reynolds waved as he walked into the Good Morning America studios in New York this morning.
The 42-year-old actor is on a round of promotional visits to discuss his new movie, Detective Pikachu.
The husband of Blake Lively wore a playful blue dress shirt that matched his playful personality for the occasion.

The Deadpool actor paired the patterned shirt with a blue varsity jacket, grey dress pants and brown dress shoes.
He wore a smile on his face and a watch on his wrist.
The Canadian-American is using all his resources to get out the word about the new fantasy mystery film.
He took to Instagram to share a few clips and a video of how he prepares for the roll, drawing black dots all over his face while joking that you, too can be Detective Pikachu.

While on the morning show, The Proposal actor talked about his two daughters James, four, and Inez, two, that he shares with wife Lively, 31.
He said his daughter James is ‘losing her mind’ over the movie.
But Inez, he said, has ‘never been interested in a movie I’ve done ever, ‘because ‘she tends to relate more to villains.’

‘We took our kids to the Nutcracker and there’s a moment in the beginning where the kid takes the toy and smashes it to the ground and everyone gasps in the audience. My daughter was just like [claps],’ Ryan said, adding, ‘She just loves villains. I’m surprised she’s not selling hand-rolled cigarettes in her preschool.’
Ryan also spoke about the new game show he’s producing called Don’t.
He said, ‘Don’t is a stunt show where families play against each other with a simple premise, ‘Don’t… don’t blink, don’t laugh.’
