And Sarah Michelle Gellar couldn’t resist celebrating her longtime pal Selma Blair’s 47th birthday by sharing a snap of the two of them leaning in for a kiss during the iconic 1999 teen drama, Cruel Intentions.
The actress, 42, proved their bond was still tight as she added the gushing caption: ‘I may not be able to spend your birthday with you, but that won’t stop me from sending kisses.Happy Birthday @selmablair.’

Thrilled at Sarah’s birthday wishes, Selma commented: ‘ I love you so much. Thank you my forever friend.’
It has been two decades since the release of Cruel Intentions, and Sarah celebrated the milestone back in March.
Sharing a snap with Selma, and the rest of the baby-faced cast, including Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon – who were married from 1999 to 2007 – Sarah added the caption: ‘Wait…today 20 years?!?’
‘I literally just realized today is the actual anniversary. Well 20 years later I may be even more proud of this film.’

The Buffy The Vampire Slayer star’s message continued: ‘Not very often do you get to be a part of cinema, that holds the test of time.’
Sarah then thanked those involved, telling director Roger Kumble: ‘You are the most wonderfully disturbed person I know and I love you.
Her castmates also got a special message: ‘@reesewitherspoon @selmablair@ryanphillippe (and not pictured @seanpthomas @vancityjax) you are even better actors and better people then you were then. Forget me- everybody loves this film and I intend to keep it that way.’
Cruel Intentions focused on the affairs of the wicked step-siblings Kathryn (Gellar) and Sebastian (Ryan Phillippe) as they cajole and connive their way around their prestigious Manhattan prep school.
