REVEALED: Sunrise’s Mark Beretta confesses the WORST parts of working on the breakfast TV show alongside Samantha Armytage and David Koch
Mark Beretta has spent over 15 years on Seven Network’s Sunrise.
And on Sunday, the sports presenter revealed the worst parts of working on the top-rated breakfast program for himself and all of his co-hosts.
Speaking to Stellar, the 53-year-old said: ‘We can’t do anything on weeknights.’

Mark, who wakes up for work at 3:30am each week day, added: ‘And on Friday nights, we are so tired – you’re just exhausted a lot.’
But the presenter added that the lack of sleep is a small price to pay for the top TV job, while gushing over co-hosts Samantha Armytage, David Koch and Natalie Barr.
‘But I love it, and it’s a privilege. I work with an incredible team who I continually admire and respect,’ he continued.

During the magazine feature, Mark went on to reveal Kochie is a ‘role model’ of his.
He said: ‘He is someone I’ve looked up to for a long time; he’s an amazing man in what he’s done in his life and just his whole attitude to people.’
Last week, Mark, who has two children, daughter Ava, 15, and son Dan, 12, was named the 2019 Australian Father of the Year.

On Wednesday, Sunrise aired a video package dedicated to Mark, which included heartfelt testimonials from his wife, daughter and Sunrise colleagues.
Sunrise host Samantha Armytage said in the tribute: ‘He’s a good guy, I’m proud to call him a mate.’
Mark was clearly bowled over by the praise at the end of the package when he said: ‘So many nice things!
