Taylor Swift offers behind-the-scenes look at her new ME! music video

She recently released the music video for her new single ME! 

And Taylor Swift, 29, has now offered a behind-the-scenes glance at how she shot the new video alongside her co-singer Panic! At The Discos Brendan Urie.

During the short clip, Taylor brushes up on her French skills, as she rehearses the lines she says at the beginning of the video with a French-speaking member of the crew.

The beginning of the music video starts with Taylor and Brendan engaging in a blazing argument in French, before the songstress storms out and the track begins.

The Blank Space singer ensured that her language skills were up to scratch, as she was seen during the behind-the-scenes footage practising with the French crew member.

Elsewhere in the video, Taylor and Brendan were scene launching into a fake row as she accused him of ’embarrassing’ her in front of her cats, Olivia and Meredith.

The two cats had a starring role in Taylor’s latest video, as they were seen chilling on her plush pink sofa during the clips of the making of the video. 

Olivia and Meredith caused chaos off-camera, as one of them were spotted peeing on one of they lavish sofas that featured in the video.

The songstress gushed over Brendon while speaking to Kent Andrew ‘Smallzy’ Small on Nova’s Smallzy’s Surgery earlier this week.

Taylor explained that during the duo’s rehearsals, she had to keep up with Brendon’s ongoing energy.  

‘Oh my god – he just goes into rehearsals and you have to really keep up – he’s so amazing and he just blitz’s everything and every situation he’s in,’ the blonde beauty said.

Meanwhile, Taylor gushed over how much fun she’s had with her upcoming new album.

‘To be honest, [ME!] has been such a fun video and song to make, and I’m so proud the album that will come out eventually,’ she said.

‘It’s just really exciting that the fans are excited and I love my job and I’m having a really fun time doing this.’ 

Taylor released her hotly-anticipated new single ME! at midnight on Thursday last week, and the catchy track swiftly rose to 57 million after the 24th hour and is now sitting pretty at 72 million views. 

The ME! music video has beaten Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next video’s clicks, which accumulated 55.4 million views in the same period.  

The visual extravaganza has gained four million views per hour and is currently top of the iTunes charts, according to Fortune.
