Brad Pitt made a lasting impression on The Project’s former presenter Charlie Pickering when he interviewed the Hollywood star back in the day.
Reappearing on the Channel 10 show for its 10-year anniversary on Friday night, Charlie hilariously gushed over Brad’s skin and described him to be ‘beyond a regular human’.
The TV presenter, 41, admitted he was left impressed with the Fight Club actor’s flawless complexion, while revealing he was ordered to interview Brad barefoot.
Charlie had joined fellow Project presenters Carrie Bickmore and Dave Hughes for the interview that took place on a boat several years ago.
Carrie said their chat with Brad was one of her favourite interviews while working on The Project, with Charlie claiming Brad was a ‘very special person’.
He no doubt amused viewers, as he recalled: ‘You try to act like all famous people are the same, they’re real people too… but [Brad’s] skin said to me that he is a very special person.’

Charlie then likened Brad to The Bachelor, as he joked: ‘We were waiting for him on the boat and he arrived in this linen suit and it was like The Bachelor.
‘I didn’t know if it was Carrie, Dave or me that was going to get to take him home. It was a pretty exciting time.’

‘It was actually the people who owned the boat!’ Carrie revealed the presenting trio were forced to take off their shoes before interviewing Brad, after being falsely led to believe it was at the star’s request
Footage of the old interview saw Carrie walking across the boat barefoot and she pointed out to the panel, that herself, Charlie and Dave were forced to take off their shoes before heading on board.
She explained: ‘We were all told to take our shoes off as [Brad] requested that nobody had their shoes on on the boat.
‘He walked on with shoes on and we found out afterwards that it was actually the people who owned the boat – they didn’t want their boat ruined!’
