In Siberia, Todd learns to survive in the Arctic Wilderness, but the most confronting scenes are filmed on the front line in war-torn Gaza.

‘The Palestinians living in Gaza are living and working at the very edge,’ Todd says in the trailer.

And as a series of bullets are fired, Todd yells out: ‘They’re ricocheting off the water! Jesus!’

Filming the show can also present its challenges on the home front.

Todd told The New Daily in March 2017, that it can be difficult juggling family time with long hours of filming.

‘I definitely struggle, but what I try not to do is live a life of guilt, it doesn’t help anyone,’ he said.

‘Don’t look at the short horizon, look at the long horizon.’
